hii am a 3rd year btech ( electronics and communication )student.i have some basic idea abt the subject. could any one of u suggest some practical projects which i could do.It would help if the topic is a fresh and implementable one. i would like to do projects using a basic linear integrated ckt such as an op amp.

obtain the 16 diff magnitudes of gain using minimum no. of components with the help of OP-AMP.

I need alternatives to use instead of a Light Dependant Resistor, a Photo transistor, a 741 op-amp, a 555 timer, and maybe even a relay? any ideas appreciated, thank you.

hey guys....
good evening from us here....
what simple electronics project would you recommend me to work on using only just one integrated circuit, and is convenient using the printed circuit board?
what website would you recommend me to browse on in relation to the said question above?
hope you could help me with this one.........
have a nice day guys.......

My electronics project has a switch which, when pressed, activates a 555 integrated circuit in astable operation
It is very important that I know how long it takes for the first rising edge after the button is pressed.
Does the output of the 555 go immediately high?
Does the normal space time come first?
Or does it take a completely different length of time for the first rising edge and, if so, is there a formula for calculating this length of time?

I'm trying to diagnose a problem with an electronics project I built from a kit and the troubleshooting says "Look for about 2-5v DC on the collector of the transistor."
I know which prong is the collector but I'm still learning so I'm not sure where to connect the multimeter to test the voltage on it. Can I just touch the meter's leads between the collector and the next component? Or do I measure it between the collector and one of the other prongs of the transistor (base or emitter)?
Or do I need to remove the transistor from the circuit board completely to isolate the voltage?

Hi,
I am currently doing an electronics project, and I've got mixed up in something quite simple... My project is composed of a motor (running on a max of 3V) and several circuits (eight, all of them exactly the same).
I have succeeded in operating a sample circuit using a 9V battery. Now, I am looking at how to connect everything (8 circuits and motor) together in parallel, so that they work at the same time using a 9V DC supply. However, I'm not sure what resistance I should put in series with the motor, to drop its voltage to 3V (so that I do not burn it!).
Help! Thanks!

I have a basic knowledge about it and i also find i have a passion about it, can anybody suggest websites that can help me to build good electronics projects like alarm bells, torches, and move on to learn about chips and importantly teach me how to program microprocessors writing software in plain hardware(now that's really hi-fi). I know pretty well about logic gates and so on...

i am a beginner in making electronics project.i wanted to do a circuit which i saw in the EFY magazine(june 2008,page90).i wanted to know the function of the following components
1.the 2 zener diodes(20V,.5W)
2.MOFSET(IRF830)
3.BC548
4.C1,.220mF capacitor
i wish to know what a MOFSET is and its function.
I f possible give me a suitable link which will help me in understanding the circuit better.

I am doing a electronics project so i need a "simple mixed signal circuit diagram". (eg.like Digital to analog converter or Analog to digital converter or something like that but it must be simple circuit.) I need a complete circuit diagram. i am not able to get the circuit diagrams. so plz help me out and tell me the site names. or the direct links. U can also mail me at boys198721@yahoo.co.in. Ok Thank You and Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz help me. Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
