Digital Circuits Interview Questions 

So I just want to get a few little presents... a digital camera and a non-name brand camcorder for kids.. I'm not really worried about these items selling out - should I be ??? I am more concerned about LOOONG lines.. What time should we be in line?? It's 11:42 PM (west coast) .. It's kinda a small store but it IS in the greater los angeles area.. But most people go for the TVs and stuff.. right??

Does anyone know if this camera is going to be on sale?

I purchased a Sony Cyber Shot 12 MP digital camera less than two months ago. I'm not happy with it, the photos are blurry and the shutter speed is ssooooooooo slow. It's hard to use. I paid over $300 and still have the box and receipt. Will they take it back?

Reason Im asking is because I want to see how many of you choose what store - for computer, tv, digital cameras, modem, webcam, etc.

Me - I go to Best Buy Store because I trust their merchandises alot better than other store. psssstt + dont go Wal-Mart > they're horrible with their merchandises. I dont know about their clothes.
I bought a 14 inch panasonic tv for my game. Came home that very night to set it up - nothing came on. Plug was already in, check wires, etc. Finally decided to go back to Wal-Mart and returned it & got my money back. Decided to go Best Buy Store - ever since then... my 14 inch tv is wonderful!!

Friday I'm going to circuit city to get my new hdtv and surround sound and a ps3. The tv is a Sony 40" KDL40V2500 and the home theatre is Sony HT-DDW995. Will I get 5.1 surround sound from the ps3 while playing games watching blu ray if I run a hdmi cable from the ps3 to the home theatre then from the home theatre to the tv or do I need to run digital optical from the ps3 to home theatre for 5.1. Also how do i get the satelite to be in 5.1 surround from a regular reciever. And if anyone can give me any tips on the best way to hook up everthing up

so its broke...
so tommarrow im going to circuit city to switch it out for something else.
my dad wants something with a really good movie feature(my camera that broke only could record a movie 13 min.long)
and i want something taht willl shoot picz good.

I bought a camera (canon 40D) from Circuit City for $1200, The same camera I get for $400 in the following URL :

I was stunned with this. When I called 1 800 number given in the web site, nobody picking up as they work for 4 days a week.

I just confused with this. Can anybody throw highlight on this.

A couple of nights ago I noticed a loud popping noise coming from my AC unit outside the house. When I went out to take a look I could see a blue flash coming from inside the small compartment which houses a large capacitor and circuit board. When it would flash the fan would try to come on but then stop again. Inside the house, each time the popping noise occurs, the digital display on my control panel goes blank. When I first heard this I flipped the breaker until I could take a look the next morning. When I opened up the compartment on the AC unit I didn't notice anything visually wrong. I blew all the dust out and replaced the cover. When I turned it back on it worked fine for about 30 hours... then the popping and blue spark returned with all of the other residual issues...

Does anybody have any idea what might be causing this? The unit itself is only about 5 years old...

I just bought a 1080p sharp aquos 46 inch at circuit city and it has a QAM tuner built-in. Now what i heard was that you can pick up local hd channels (like our local Fox, CBS, ABC, or NBC), which would be great because i just want their weekly NFL games without the hassle of the NFL package. So I asked teh guy at the store about doing this and extending my range with an antenna and he said "ya you can do that with the optimized for hdtv antennas." So i thought awesome im set. So i bought the Phillips Silver Sensor Digital Amplified Indoor Antenna (PHDTV3) for 50 bucks and plugging it into the cable jack on my new tv. I scanned for all the air and then cable channels. All i got was 3 freakin versions of my local 69 news channel. To say the least i was pretty steamed. One of them was the hd version and it was not even close to hd quality. I guess thats cause i was only getting it at 70%. The antenna is inside my downstairs room. Placement, better ant, different accessory?wat should i do

I'm looking at Best Buy, Circuit City etc. I'm replacing a Yamaha HTR-5835 after I lost sound in the middle channel. I'm going to have to buy a separate subwoofer at a later date, but that doesn't concern me at the moment.

What's the best company to go with? I don't have an HD TV, but hopefully willl be in the position to buy one in a few months -- what concern should I have in buying a receiver that can handle the transition?

Inputs I'll need:

Digital cable
DVD (just regular right now, but perhaps Blue-Ray later)
VCR
CD-player
(maybe) Cassette deck (if I find a workable one)

The 4 receivers that appear to fit my needs right now are:
